Vana Diel è piena di Notorious Monsters (o Named Monsters o NM) che sono mostri all'apparenza "normali" o cmq uguali visivamente ad altri ma che hanno un nome diverso, essi sono appunto speciali e possono droppare oggetti rari o anche rarissimi, oggetti di grande valore se messi in vendità, proviamo a raggruppare questi mostri e la località dove trovarli, grazie all'aiuto di un sito giapponese...

altra roccaforte orchesca (in questo caso si tratta di Quadav estremamente tosti) paragonabile per certi versi a Davoi, si entra da Pashhow e ci si va per la quest del Drk, alcuni di questi NM (come la maggioranza degli altri) non droppano solo 1 item/equip raro, ma hanno anche un secondo item ancora più raro e di valore...

ma cmq n ncredo ke siano da considerare NM i mostri delle quest :o...

però...attento a non trovarwe un NM cn il nome *Analcolico moro*...  :ninja:

in effetti i mostri delle quest non sono propriamente dei NM come gli altri, nel senso che non ci sbatti contro per caso, ecco... devi fare la quest e te li trovi...

(almeno quello del DRG sicuro, quello del PLD anche se stai girando da quelle parti lo vedi lo stesso attorno al pozzo, staziona lì, e cmq dubito che possa esserci un player che gironzola a Davoi per fare 4 passi, dal momento che anche un WAR 64 vedeva i mostri TOUGH e aggravano pure lui, quindi a Davoi c'è poca balotta in giro^^)

riguardo il resto c'è da dire che i NM si suddividono in 2 grandi categorie:
1) quelli che droppano item/equip rari sì, ma non rarissimi, e quindi vendibili all'asta per prezzi tutto sommato non esaltanti, non offrono nulla di veramente particolare e quindi se li cerchi puoi anche trovarli e tentare di sconfiggerli...
2) quelli che droppano item/equip rarissimi e di grande valore, specie quelli che hanno anche lo special item, ad esempio penso al macchinario-orchesco a Ghelsba, PUO' droppare ANCHE un arco da RNG da 40mila gil, l'altro mob a Ramperre Tomb PUO' droppare ANCHE il Night Cap che dovrebbe andare sui 30mila, per non parlare di altri NM che possono droppare oggetti che valgono anche 300mila O_O

il problema di questi ultimi è il seguente:
poppano o in zone ristrettissime ma solitamente difficili da raggiungere per via della strada da percorrere piena di altri nemici, oppure poppano in aree vaste e non sai precisamente dove, inoltre alcuni hanno un delay altissimo, alcuni di questi si parla di un delay di 1 o anche 3 ore prima del respawn, ma nel frattempo che succede? succede che molte gilde di jappi fanno camping, piazzandosi in pole position con il dito sulla macro del taunt in modo che appena qualcosa di buono appare, zac! si appropriano del mostro, che poi magari non droppa, ma intanto tu non ci provi nemmeno... considerando che i jappi hanno un ping migliore che un utente di Fastweb si può immaginare come "di solito" facciano prima loro a pullare il mostro...

cmq tentare non nuoce ed è il nostro mestiere nonchè uno dei tanti motivi che ci spingono ad esplorare FFXI e poi, se ci va di culo, facciamo come Voodoo che ha ottenuto l'oggetto da 300k e ormai si metteva a piangere dalla commozione... -.-"

il mio intento finale sarebbe quello di mettere anche questi dati, infatti sono quelli forse + interessanti per capire se andare alla ricerca di un NM piuttosto che un altro...
per il Gian Scorpion l'ho incontrato anche io con Voodoo quando mi stava portando, attraverso Ranguemont, al ghiacciaio per prendere la condizione atmosferica "Gelo" per la quest del Summoner...

Gentaglia, sarà il caso di organizzare qualche bella battuta di caccia al NM, una degna di una NMLS...

Io sono d'accordissimo.... a quanto pare cmq alcuni di questi sono gia stati avvistati/combattuti da alcuni di noi (kato, almo, zaffo , voodoo) e quindi possiamo gia farci una idea di che livelli servono per affrontarli... nn so se vengono sempre aggiornati i dati nella pagnia dei players attivi ma direi che x ora gia in subjob ci siamo in un pò.... adesso vediamo (parlo per me) di prendere sto dannato choco.... anche se x ora mi sto dedicando al mnk che al liv 10 continua a salire su bene....
poi mi ri-dedicherò tempo pieno al war (anzi stasera stacco un pò dal mnk e cercherò di salire a liv 19, chi è interessato a far party a valk x quei livelli mi faccia sapere!)

il problema dei NM è quello del CAMPING dei jappi, ma cmq appena sarà possibile andarci insieme lo faremo, chiaramente se e quando dropperanno ciò che vogliamo vedremo come fare, se venderlo e dividerci l'incasso oppure qualcos'altro...
